Dr. Michael Letzing has over 4 years experience in diagnostic radiology, with a focus on neuroradiology, general radiology, and emergency radiology.
Dr. Letzing is sub-specialty fellowship trained in neuroradiology. He completed residency training in diagnostic radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Hospital. He attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class, and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He received his bachelors degree in physics with honors from the University of Virginia. Prior to medical school, Dr. Letzing worked for 4 years in software engineering and consulting, and has professional interests in medical informatics. He envisions information technology playing a critical role in today’s medical practice, where improved patient-centered care can be achieved through optimizations in accuracy, collaboration and quality measures.
Dr. Letzing has authored several publications and presented at national meetings on topics including idiopathic intracranial hypertension, cervical spine trauma and head and neck imaging.
